Amptracker lives! I know some folks were getting worried; we had signups closed for a lot longer than we thought we would. We did not want to take on more than we could handle without providing a good experience for our users.
So, what has changed?
Accounts
Due to the number of subscribers and the amount of juice it takes to provide stats and graphs for all of you, there are no longer free signups available. Those of you who are currently signed up for the free service will continue to enjoy the level of service you have — consider yourselves grandfathered in as a reward for helping build the service and your great feedback over time!
Performance
We’ve split the webhead and database server across two machines. With a dedicated DB, even your yearly stats build quickly. Amptracker should be snappy and responsive no matter which feature you’re using! Let us know if you hit performance problems and we’ll revisit this issue.
More Updates
Now that the capacity issues are resolved, we’ll be focusing our time on more features for our subscribers. If you have a feature requests, send ‘em our way! support@amptracker.com
Groove on, and tell your friends!

how much is this going to cost please let me know
Hi there
Is there any move to reduce the refresh time on the web interface? A few listeners have commented that when they go to vote the vote may be miscast because the display doesn’t always change with the track etc. I hope that makes sense, I think it refreshes every 30 seconds? I think that’s the problem.
Thanks
Alex
I’ve logged in and tried several times to edit my stream settings to point to my new Shoutcast server but the changes won’t take affect.
Is possible sign up to the service by a little donation?
Thanks
I adore your site very much. Will read more. Keep up to excellent info on it. Thank you
Hi Guys,
Just wondered how i go about signing up to your service, yours is the best out there for those who don’t know how to code.
I’m willing to pay, how much is the service?
We are a group of volunteers and opening a new scheme in our community. Your web site provided us with valuable information to work on. You have done a formidable job and our whole community will be thankful to you.
The grind is the grind. There are no short cuts.
Looks good…too bad the SIGN UP area doesn’t work!!
Wonderful, this is definitely what I was seeking for! Your post just spared me alot of looking around
I’ll make certain to put this in good use! Thumbs up for the awesome information
It was in the range of end of December 2009 and early of January 2010. As far as we know, Google will update PR occasionally for every 3 months. So will be expecting new updates on March – April 2010.
